The Web and I mostly designs sites on the Microsoft OfficeLive platform. In addition to being free, Microsoft is always updating and upgrading the technology behind the scenes.
Officelive is Microsoft's initiative to help small businesses, but they have not done too much to publicize the product or the power behind it. One of the reasons is that Officelive is not easy to implement, and still requires a consultant to do a good job with. Very few consultants are familiar with Microsoft Officelive. We have been using Officelive since it first came onto the market, and we have been at the forefront of design technologies and techniques on the platform.
Officelive is more than a website. The web contact forms lead to a business contact database, so everyone who signs up on your website is automatically entered into the contact manager. The Contact Manager makes a great sales application, and it has opportunity tracking and revenue stream monitoring, a product list, a company list, and telephone and mail contact log for every contact person.
If you have your website designed on another platform, the technology behind the site will be outdated in 3 years at the most. At that time you will be forced to pay for another redesign. Officelive is always being updated by Microsoft behind the scenes. Microsoft puts time and money into making sure your Website is using the latest technology standards. You pay nothing for this service, it is all done by Microsoft. With an OfficeLive site designed by the Web and I, you can keep your site for life!
