Why do they need me to be a real developer? Their businesses depend on the quality and reliability of my business solutions. This includes the design of the software that I use, the management of the security, and making sure that not a single customer gets lost.

If I don’t do well, people will go from loving me to hating me in a hurry. These are business people. Their families eat and live based on how well their businesses work, and if their business software is down they lose money in a hurry and it would all be my fault.
