Graphic Design

The Web and I features the graphic design of artist Daniel Shaw. Mr. Shaw has experience in the graphic design and interior design industries. These overlapped with his graphic design work appearing in Architectural Digest.

Logo design is a complex process. The main considerations is that it successfully represents your corporate philosophy as a brand. A great logo enhances brand reputation and activates consumers to be loyal.  Characteristics of great logos are:

  • Timelessness
  • Clarity
  • Originality
  • Versatility in use (suitable for the Web, print ads, letterhead, and business cards and recognizable in multiple colors)

The actual process involves a lot of interpersonal communication, research, and creating different versions as options repeatedly. Rather than create our own process, our process reflects the best industry standards that will help your vision come to life in a meaningful way and captivate your existing and prospective clients. It should be done correctly the first time because a great logo will never need to be redesigned. First we will develop a thorough understanding of your brand and corporate values. We will research your potential customer base and make certain that the design appeals to them. We will work with you by showing you many concept sketches, and you will be very involved in the creation of your company’s logo from start to finish. During the process you will also learn what characteristics you will need in your logo, and you will appreciate the final result and know why it is good.

The following graphic is an outline of the process:

Logo Design Process

These are the steps your experience with us will follow. You will never need another logo design again.

Mr. Shaw has designed and developed many logos for our clients. They will be featured here and will rotate from time to time.

Logo design has to be subtle. The design is catchy yet does not detract from the overall message. It has to be simple and coherent. Too many colors and too many design elements can ruin a classic logo design. Following trends such as special effects and elements like buttons, swooshes, captions or globes will take away from the timelessness you are trying to achieve. Readability of any text is important, and to achieve that it is best to use a maximum of two fonts.

Matching art to marketing is a science which we have been developing over time. Let our success work for you.

Graphic design services are available for $500 per logo including source files and all rights. You may allow us to make your logo available in our showcase, but this is entirely optional and based on client preference.
