OfficeLive Business Contact Manager Error

This error appeared on my Business Contact Manager.

I am trying to determine whether there are missing required fields or other issue with interfaced data pushed from SQL Server.

The text says, “

Select a company, contact, or opportunity to associate with this  item.
One or more entries on this screen are not valid. Check your text and try again.

The Microsoft Office Live Small Business Web service has encountered an unexpected problem in processing your request. Please check the Address box to make sure you have entered the correct Web address.

Keyword Research Tool from Google Adwords

I have read a great deal of information about SEO and how you should choose keywords right from  your content.  But often the keywords which are most successful for your topic are in multi-word phrases.  Since there are so many combinations of words and pages on your site, you could stuff thirty or more keywords into your meta keywords, but search engines do not respond well to that. 

Since there are so many combinations of words, I am more interested in word combinations related to my site which gets the most traffic.  I will be adjusting my content to make sure that I have at least an eight percent keyword density.

When choosing those phrases, I like to use the Google Keyword Research Tool.  I can use the content I have already written and let Google come up with suggestions for me. The traffic of those keywords shows up for both global and local searches.  Since I have locally geotargeted business websites, I am choosing some high volume and medium volume keywords.  I am more likely to get to Number One on Google with medium volume keywords because there is less competition.  I can take some of the high volume keywords I couldn’t compete in otherwise and make geotargeted tails so that they are less competitive long tail keywords.

This tool is designed for those with Adwords.  Your firm may not have a budget for that, but the tool is free to use and requires no payment.  They hope you will use the tool to buy their advertising, yet the tool is still available for free.

Add Google News to Your Website with News Show

Google’s new News Show allows either a header or a rectangle of news to be displayed.  You can have top stories within the standard categories of news, or you can have a completely custom search.

Looking at the API, I see that it is possible to also have a comma separated values list of queries.  However I find it much more useful to be topic specific to segregate the results.

Have Your Site Visitors Contact You With Windows Live Messenger

This is a handy utility which will work on any Website to let your customers contact you or your delegates through Instant Messenger.

Easy to install, just follow the following steps:

1. Go to http://settings.messenger.live.com/applications/WebSettings.aspx
2. Log in with your Windows Live ID (or register for a new one).
3. Check, “Allow anyone on the to see my presence and send me messages”
   
4. Click Create HTML on the  Left Hand Side.
5. Select your display option and copy the HTML code.
   
    
6. Put the code into the appropriate part of your site and you will have the application embedded:

Iobit Advanced System Optimizer Free Edition
I have just installed this new utility from Iobit.  This operates similiar to Norton Utilities, only it is not integrated with antivirus and it is free.

Several test systems are receiving the software for testing, from an old Windows XP laptop to a Dell Precision Workstation with multiple processors and 9GB Ram running Windows 7.

CNET and CNN have nothing but good things to say about this product.

I found the installation to be easy and the interface to be fairly intuitive.

I have just run it on my Dell Precision Workstation running Windows 7 with great results.  Spyware was removed, my hard drive was optimized and defragged, windows was cleaned, and it all was compatible with Windows 7.   Tomorrow I try more platforms and tests.
